Gals and Dolls

Gals and Dolls is a group of cloth, fiber and paper artists that love to play with dolls.

We welcome new members who are interested in joining us in the real world.  Our club includes both beginners and experienced dollmakers.  We share interests in creating cloth and multimedia art dolls, learning new techniques, experimenting with new materials, and sharing our art work.

Gals and Dolls is a cloth doll club based in Northern San Jose, California.

We have been playing with cloth dolls for over 20 years. We started with rag dolls and "cabbage patch" dolls made from panty hose, but we have evolved with the art doll movement. 

Now we work with cloth, fiber, felt, paper, tyvek, wire, polymer, paper clay, paint, colored pencils, found objects, pens, digital prints.....you name it, we will make a doll out of it.
