Membership Benefits
Gals and Dolls provides many opportunities for sharing, learning, and experimenting with new ideas.


Monthly Meetings and Programs
At our meetings we often have short programs to learn new techniques, we share our new dolls and skills, and of course, we enjoy good company and snacks!



Dollmaking Classes
Several times a year we arrange weekend or evening classes with accomplished teachers.  Some of the artists we've invited are Barbara Willis, Ute Vasina, Arley Barryhill, Betts Vidal, Dayle Doroshow, Marsha Elam, Jane Coughlan, Eleanor Peace Bailey and many other renown doll artists.


Newsletter and Yahoo Group
One of our fabulous volunteers creates and distributes a newsletter each month with contributions from all our members.  We also have a members-only Yahoo Group for sharing photos, web links, messages, our library index and an archive of our newsletters.



Dollmaker Library
We've collected a library of new and classic doll-related books, dollmaker's magazines, videos and patterns for our members' use.




Doll Exchanges and Challenges
Throughout the year we invite members to make dolls for special challenges and member exchanges, which enlivens our creativity and skills (and adds wonderful dolls to our collections, too!)
